30 Days of Thanks – Day 26

Earlier in the month, I gave thanks for my friends Lisa and Amanda and our morning bible study. For several weeks, we’ve enjoyed a Wednesday morning bible study. I am so thankful for this study for many reasons, but the biggest blessing I receive from that bible study is being in God’s Word.

God’s Word blesses my life in more ways than I can ever count. Through the Word, I learned about His saving grace, the love He has for me and the gift of His Son.

His Word strengthens me, encourages me, comforts me and guides me. It helps me live a better life and be a better person. I am most grateful that it reveals to me the gift of salvation. So today I give thanks for God’s word and all it offers me.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

Until next time,
